Dee Bell's new album release, Sagacious Grace has made the Jazzweek charts. It is climbing and at this time is at 73 on the jazz charts.
Her new release has been featured on many jazz shows around the country. This week it is in top 10 rotation on Bob Parlocha's syndicated jazz program.

Longtime jazz vocalist Dee Bell will be joining Laser Records with the release of her album Sagacious Grace. This album features the late Al Plank on piano, John Stowell, Guitar and Houston Person on saxophone. Dee Bell’s debut album, Let There Be Love with Stan Getz on saxophone, and Eddie Duran (a Benny Goodman Band graduate) on guitar, was released on the Concord Jazz label (1983). Dee has received widespread acclaim in the music industry for her unique vocal style. Let There Be Love was chosen as a BillBoard Magazine “Recommended LP Jazz Pick in 1983. “ Bell was also nominated by Downbeat Magazine in their Jazz Critic’s Poll for two consecutive years as “Talent Deserving
Wider Recognition.” BAM Magazine nominated Let There Be Love as the Best Debut Album and One by One as Best Jazz Vocal Album, both in their release years. Bell has performed nationally and internationally and has appeared at the Golden Globe Awards, the Russian River Jazz Festival, the Jazz in the City Festival, the Napa Valley Mustard Festival to name a few, as well as a wide variety of television, club and hotel performances.

Due to be completed the August of 2011 will be the fourth album spawned from The Brubakers. This project has been a long time coming with a few new surprises on it. The album will be followed up with a tour to complete its metamorphosis.

Saxophone spectacular Ziad Rabie has signed with Laser Records and will be releasing his first album on this label. The album titled "EMERGENCE" will be released October 30, 2010.
Brubakers Starting New Album

The Brubakers have begun working on their next generation of music featuring a new line up. They are excited about getting back in the studio and working on this new project. Especially after a long hot summer of playing outdoor venues.
They plan on trying a few different things on this album. Including a few popular cover tunes with a new twist and maybe even some vocals. You will have to wait and see.
